“Luss has been synonymous with camping for over 100 years, the village acting as a focal point for weary travellers heading north into the Highlands.”
About Us.
In the early 19th Century, there existed an informal camping ground at Luss, close to the Rhu of Luss farm. The local tenant supplemented his income by providing camping facilities to travellers heading north and south on this important arterial route.
Since the early 1970’s Luss Campsite has been run by the Camping and Caravan Club of Great Britain and this prime site has continued to grow in reputation. As one of the most spectacular venues in the Highlands, Luss Estates are proud to relaunch in April 2020 under its own management, instilling our own brand identity on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond..
